### Making Devotional Images in Taizé

In the workshop of the Taizé Community, small devotional images are carefully handcrafted on wood. First, the wooden panels are cut to size and their edges carefully sanded.

The religious image motif is then precisely applied to the prepared wooden surface and aligned by hand.

Each step requires patience, experience, and great attention to detail. In this way, simple pieces of wood are transformed into special devotional images that can accompany people in prayer and personal reflection. The finished images combine traditional craftsmanship with the spiritual atmosphere of Taizé and are passed on as signs of faith, peace, and community.
